Late Night Library | Sex in Beirut
On Thursday, 10th May as part of a series of Late Night Library events produced by the City of Sydney, audience were treated to readings from Lebanese writers Gibran Khalil Gibran, Zena el Khalil Artist Page as well as local narrators of SWEATSHOP – the Western Sydney Literacy Movement at Outrageous Library: Sex in Beirut.
The evening featured performances followed by Q&A with host Jenevieve Chang (The Good Girl of Chinatown); author Michael Mohammed Ahmad (The Lebs), Sheree Joseph and Omar J. Sakr (These Wild Houses), along with hip hop artist and lyrical rap talent Matuse Peace (The Travelling Stranger). Continue reading
