One of the world’s fastest growing sports, roller derby is making a comeback, after fading from popularity in the 1970s. Women’s roller derby leagues are popping up all around the world with clubs in Sweden, Germany, New Zealand, England and the United States where the sport was founded.
I was commissioned to photograph the Sydney Roller Derby League along with media from Channel 9 and the Central Sydney magazine in June.
